About the State : Andhra Pradesh, the largest state in South India is the major link between North India and South India. It is bounded by Maharashtra, Chattisgarh and Orissa in the  north, the Bay of Bengal in the east, Tamil Nadu in the south and Karnataka in the west. 
The state is dotted with hill ranges from the north to the south, running erratically down the middle of the country dividing it into western and eastern or coastal Andhra. Two major rivers, the Godavari and the Krsihna run across the state. 
The Hitech city Hyderabad is the capital. The state offers everything from beautiful beaches to serene lakes, dense forests, forts, the famous biriyani and rich sea food. Telugu is the state language.

 So find the best shops to buy those precious pearls for your loved ones. Almost every other jewellery shop in Hyderabad is likely to shelf pearls, but the area near Charminar—Pathergatti and Laad Bazaar—has the best bets. Some popular shops are: Mangatrai Pearls and Jewellers (Punjagutta, Patharghatti, Basheerbagh), Meena Jewellers (Ameerpet, Basheerbagh), Bhagwati’s Pearls and Jewellers (Patharghatti), Krishna Pearls and Jewellers (Taj Krishna, ITC Kakatiya Sheraton, Taj Banjara ), Sri Jagdamba Pearls and Gold (Secunderabad), Vithaldas & Co Jewellers (Charminar, Somajiguda).
The main shopping areas in Hyderabad are Abids, Basheerbagh, Nampally and Sultan Bazar, and MG Road and Rashtrapati Road in Secunderbad. The markets around Charminar are favoured for bangles and pearls.
The Cottage Industries Exposition (CIE) at Begumpet, is a good place for handicrafts, carpets, furniture, linen and miniature paintings. Worth visiting if you are looking for pottery, fabrics, jewellery. Zedd’s, Regal and Curves are shoe and leather goods shops in the newly developed sections of Road 1, Banjara Hills.
